Best Household Disinfectant

Obtain a standard bottle of rubbing alcohol, 16-32 oz.

Add 8-16 drops of standard tincture of Iodine (not the decolorized stuff).

Shake to mix.

The resulting mixture should look something like iced tea.

Put it in a pump sprayer.

This solution is safe to apply to most surfaces, including healthy skin.

Generally anything that it seems to stain can be cleaned with plain rubbing alcohol.

Iodine’s effectiveness is reduced by the presence of organic matter.
