Rib Crib is a regional chain that has managed to take the mystical art of true barbecue and convert it into something that can be reliably franchised.  The resulting fare is rarely sublime, but also rarely disappointing. Their barbecued beef and pork is generally tender, flavorful and correctly done. The side dishes are rather more variable, and the quality of service is even more so.





